The gmc yukon gives customers the versatility and spaciousness they need when shopping for a vehicle with the towing and cargo carrying capabilities to meet their lifestyle requirements. Available in 2wd or 4wd and in three trims, the yukon seats up to nine passengers and is rated to tow up to 8500 pounds when equipped with the heavy-duty trailering package on the 4x2 model. The sle and slt trims both come with a 355-hp 5. 3-liter flexfuel v8 engine coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission. The denali trims come with a 420-hp 6. 2-liter flexfuel v8 and the same six-speed automatic as the 5. 3l. Both engines use cylinder deactivation, direct injection and continuously variable valve timing to maximize power and efficiency. A host of new advanced safety features are now standard on the slt and denali trims which include forward collision alert, lane departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert and side blind zone alert.
